Stayed here for four days while having work done on the RV. Very helpful staff and nice not having to move the RV for service. A quiet setting with almost no traffic around the park. Facilities were older but clean. Will definitely return for service and will recommend to otherw.

We camped here under AOR which is $9 a night and had to pay $3.50 for cable TV even though we have a sat. dish. Still the best buy in the area (place next door is $39 a night). Very friendly staff - lot's of activities and great breakfast buffet in the restaurant. Near enough to town for shopping. Very quiet area and parked next to the stream made it nice. I would recommend for small children as a lot of things for them here also. Sign at checkin list dog breeds (pitbull, etc.) not allowed and I only saw a few small ones around. I guess they really enforce that rule.

One of the nicer Western Horizon parks. Staff is friendly and the park is clean. Disappointed that the restaurant wasn't open. The park was almost empty except on weekends. I assume that's because of the economy. Very close to Monticello which has excellent food and shopping. Small laundrymat but three very good ones in town. I paid $0 as a WH Platnum member. Verizon signal was weak, but did use the phone a few times.

First the bad. As a prior poster noted, when I arrived I asked to be able to get a site with satellite view and was told "No problem with this site". I was parked directly under a tree. There is a loud noise coming from the AC units behind the clubhouse and it runs all day and all night. It sounds like a band saw at idle. The roads are narrow and could use an upgrade. Very difficult to get a big rig around the corners. The Good - Sites are long and level. The facilities are good. Excellent pool and hot tub. Snack bar is reasonable. Prior ROD members didn't have much good to say but get the AC noise fixed and it's a pretty nice park.

Someone forgot to put in the brochure that it sits next to a cow farm with a horrible smell. Also, don't follow their directions because the road to the campground is closed and has been torn up. It looks like they may repave it but it will take at least a year.

This is our "home park" for Western Horizon so I am a bit biased. A clean park with wide paved roads and easy back in sites. All sites have a patio and are wide enough for all the "big rigs". There is room to park next to the patio so your car is just outside your door. They have a few pull thru's but they keep them for overnighters. All the facilities are excellent as is the staff. I don't know how old the park is but it looks new. Some say it's just a big parking lot because of the lack of trees but it's the nicest parking lot I can find. Wi-fi is spotty and goes out when it gets overloaded at busy times. There are plenty of activities every day and great meals. The pot lucks are the best in the area and they have entertainment at least twice a week. Casa Grande is a growing community with several good restaurants, excellent golf and some shopping. There are plans to build a hugh shopping mall in 2007. They have approved plans for over 20,000 new homes to be built in the next 5 years so the area is going to change in a hurry.

This is a new Western Horizon Park. It is located at the Charleston Peak Winery. The park was built in 2003 so all facilities are new. All sites will hold a big rig and all have a concrete patio with car parking next to your rig. The restaurant at the winery is a 5 star restaurant. They have pads for helicopters to land when they fly in from Vegas. There is wine tasting every day and you can get personalized labels on wine bottles purchased there. They have a large area to wash your rig. Wi-fi is available for $. The staff hosts several pot luck meals during the week. They also have several activities every week. A well run park. Pahrump has a few casino's with decent restaurants and a WalMart.

This is now St. David RV Resort and is a Western Horizon park. The sites are all sandy and get muddy if it rains. Don't bother with the wi-fi if you are not near the clubhouse. Cable TV was excellent and the buildings were very clean. The staff was very friendly and they prepared some very good meals. We had to go into Benson (6 miles) to do laundry as there was a long line at their small laundry. Benson has a new WalMart and a few good restaurants. There is nothing in St. David. A good place to stay if you are going to Tombstone or Bisbee.

Used as an overnight stop. Level, wide sites. Paid for 30 amp since it's a little cheaper. The restaurant was open for dinner at night and breakfast in the AM. That meant that I didn't have to unhook the car and still eat out. Nice people at the CG and the restaurant. Would definitely use again.

We used this park for a week while visiting relatives. Nice pull throughs and full h/u at every site. Very near interstate highway so the noise bothers us. Don't worry about filling with water as it's the worst tasting water I ever had. New owners were very friendly and are working to upgrade the park. Good for short stays but not a destination park.

This is an older membership park. We camped here through Western Horizon and were surprised when we were required to pay $5 a day (our membership provides free camping at Western Horizon parks). This is an affiliate park for WH but WH doesn't list this in their web site or notify you when making reservations. WH's fault, not the CG. Roads were full of ruts and sites are not arranged properly. Need to make sure you have plenty of electric cord and water hose. Sewer connections at each site but water and electric are shared by three sites so it can be a reach to those. When checking in, we were told to just go find a site with no campground map or instructions. If this park wants longer stays, they need to do a lot of work.

Used as an overnight stay. Pulled in and was told to just pick a spot. A few had 50 amp and sewer but were already taken. Could walk thru fence to Wal Mart, Kroger and an Asian Restaurant. Hard to sleep because of truck noise from highway next to CG.

We use this park twice a year to visit relatives. Staff is very helpful and park is kept clean. They keep adding upgrades (paved sites, etc) so it gets better with each visit.

Great park for overnight. All pull through with full h/u. Easy in and out. Good laundry facility and store is well stocked. Several seasonal (permanent?) campers and many weekends host a fishing tournament.

We saw a highway sign on US-81 in south Nebraska. We pulled into the town and followed the signs to the campground. The place was empty and instructions at the bath house said to pick a spot and put $5 in the envelope. At first we parked near the baseball field and then thought we didn't want to get hit by a foul ball so we moved to the other side. Had to be careful to get a site with water but finally settled in. Surprised to find 30 amp and wide level sites. No others arrived and there was no ball game so it was "real" quiet. So quiet at night that I actually worried about being alone. Decent restaurant next to the gas station in town (about a mile away) with nightly specials and an excellent breakfast. This was a real find for us and we plan on stopping whenever we travel through this area. I would recommend this as an overnight stop to anyone, especially those who use Wal Mart. The $5 was a lot less that I have ever spent on a Wally World stop.

We love this park and the golf courses around. Don't go here if you like a lot of trees. Great for overnight or a long stay. Laundry facilities are excellent and on the honor system (don't need to bring a lot of coins). Modem now uses local numbers (not just 800's as posted previously).

We use this park whenever we travel on I-81 between New Hampshire and Alabama. Great place for an overnight stay.
